Prickly pear organic oil

The organic prickly pear seed oil is obtained by first cold pressing of the seeds contained in the prickly pear fruit (Opuntia Ficus Indica). The process is manually and mechanically (no heat is used) and filtered naturally without any processing or refining operation. It is a 100% Tunisian product certified organic according to the European standards CCPB.

Our skin has two layers: the epidermis (outer layer) and the dermis (below the epidermis). Wrinkles happen in the dermis. The dermis is made up of collagen and other proteins. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen. The collagen is what makes our skin elastic and smooth. Less collagen results in saggy skin with wrinkles.

The organic prickly pear seed oil is one of the best carrier oils for creating skin-healing oil blends.
